Souster & Hicks is a family business established in 1978 by husband and wife team, Geoff and Laura Souster. Based in a stunning Georgian building located in the beautiful village of Woburn, Bedfordshire; Souster & Hicks has since gone on to inspire a new generation with their sons Scott and Wes and their daughter in law; Natalie completing the family team.
Inspiring a new generation of tailors
Geoff Souster has a career spanning 50 years, hand cutting more than 30,000 bespoke suits. He was elected as the youngest ever National President of the Federation of Merchant Tailors in 1988, and also works as a consultant helping to set up and improve the patterns created for made to measure manufacturers, such as Wensum.
Laura Souster has also been working in the tailoring industry for 50 years, and is a highly skilled tailoress. Laura successfully runs her ever-growing ladies tailoring business together with her daughter-in-law, Natalie Souster, who most recently joined the family business.
Geoff and Laura’s passion for tailoring has inspired a new generation, with their sons; Scott and Wes, and their daughter in law; Natalie completing the family team. With a highly experienced lineup, we have developed a strong reputation in the art of bespoke cutting and tailoring. Together, Scott, Wes and Natalie will maintain the solidarity of the family and company name, making new waves in the world of tailoring.

Souster & Hicks was the first ever bespoke tailors to feature on the BBC's "The Clothes Show" in 1988 when we were making suits for the world champion boxer, Barry Mcguigan. Along with Barry, Souster & Hicks has been the tailor of choice for many well-known celebrities, past and present, including:

During the late 80s Souster & Hicks also became one of the very first bespoke tailors to use a factory made to measure computer-cutting system. This allowed them to produce a very competitively priced suit as well as the renowned fully bespoke garments; however, we put meticulous craftsmanship, exceptional materials and unrivalled comfort at the heart of our processes.
From the rural countryside to London's most famous suiting street
We’re based in Woburn, a picturesque Georgian coaching village, just an hour or so away from London. The majority of our consultations and fittings take place here, however, we also offer an appointment-only service in Savile Row, which is very much the home of the finest bespoke tailoring in the world.
