These suits are factory-made to your measurements, posture and figuration details, which will be taken by Wes and Geoff, fully trained bespoke tailors. Booking as early as possible is always recommended, particularly if your wedding falls during peak season, spring and summer dates tend to fill up quickly. As a general guide, allowing at least four to six months from your first appointment to your wedding day gives enough time for the full tailoring process: initial consultation, fabric selection, measurements, fittings and any final adjustments. Every commission is different, a more complex brief, such as matching suits for a larger wedding party, will naturally require more planning time. If your wedding is approaching sooner than expected, it’s still worth getting in touch, we will always do our best to accommodate your timeline where we can. Booking early also means you have more time to enjoy the process rather than rushing through decisions. From fabric and cut, to the smaller finishing details, these choices need consideration.
Absolutely, dressing the whole wedding party is something we’re well practised in. Identical groomsmen suits or a complementary variation of your own with a different shade, contrasting lining or a subtle difference in cut, we can work with you to achieve a cohesive look that still lets you stand apart as the groom. Co-ordinating multiple fittings for a group needs careful scheduling which our team will help you plan so the process runs smoothly for everyone. Each member of the wedding party receives the same level of personal attention, with individual measurements taken to ensure a proper fit for everyone. Having everyone dressed by the same tailor also means consistency in quality and finish, something that makes a real difference in photographs.
An off the shelf suit is made to standardised measurements, which means it may fit well in some areas but rarely in all. Alterations can improve the overall shape, but there are limits to what can be achieved once a garment is already cut and sewn to a fixed pattern. A bespoke suit is built entirely around your body and your preferences, every measurement is taken individually, the pattern is made specifically for you, and you have full control over every element such as fabric weight, colour, lapel style, lining, buttons and more. The outcome is a garment that fits precisely, moves with you naturally and reflects your personal taste. For a wedding day, when every detail is considered and photographs will last a lifetime, that level of personalisation is difficult to replicate through any other route. Seeing and feeling fabrics in person also makes a significant difference, colours, textures and weights can look quite different on a screen compared to how they appear in natural light.
